Civil Engineer– has been involving in various geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigations, geotechnical design such as (i) tunnel which is the most demanding underground structure for the modernization and development a well transportation system of a city, (ii) shallow and deep foundations of light and heavy super-structures especially for withstanding the structures under severe earthquake which is frequently seen in Japan, (iii) retaining wall structure used in land reclamation area, excavated area and others, (iv) slope design for establishing a road, (v) design of embankment and soil reclamation for using artificial land in sea etc., and (vi) all kinds of geotechnical analyses such as tunneling, stability analysis of existing slope including mountainous slope, bearing capacity problems, retaining wall problems, ground improvement problems, soil-water coupling problems, earthquake prevention measures, etc.
