MIST Debating Club:

MISTDS is widely regarded as one of Bangladesh’s most active and influential debating organisations, committed to advancing technical proficiency, intellectual discipline, and strategic reasoning. Its regular workshops led by experienced debaters and national champions along with rigorous practice sessions provide a structured environment for developing strong analytical and communicative skills.

The society cultivates new talent through intra-university leagues, mentorship initiatives, and recruitment programs, ensuring a continuous pipeline of capable debaters. Nationally, MISTDS maintains a distinguished presence, further strengthened in 2025 by hosting its first inter-university tournament, MISTDS IV 1.0, with participation from 36 teams.

Its competitive reach has also expanded internationally; in the same year, MISTDS made its debut at Kuantan ABP 2025 and advanced to the semifinals, underscoring its growing global standing and commitment to excellence.
